中原福塔外立面呈雙曲拋物線狀，外觀新穎、結構獨特、造型優美，空中俯瞰猶如盛開的梅花綻放在中原大地。其獨特的美學設計被專家們稱為“現代建筑與藝術的完美結合，是美學元素融入科學設計的一次偉大嘗試”。

塔座為鼎，寓意為鼎立中原；塔身為古代的樂器組合“編鐃齊鳴”，寓意著中原福塔的通訊傳播功能；從上空俯瞰電視塔像一朵五瓣梅花，臘梅是河南的省花，五瓣臘梅諧“五福（幅）”之意，寓意為梅開五福，花開中原；從地面仰視，電視塔像一尊豎立旋轉向上、自然騰躍、飄逸飛舞的凝固禮花。
